The fixLink® RJ45 plug module provides users with a high-quality and flexible field-terminable RJ45 plug for the transmission of 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The module is suitable for AWG 26–22 data cables with straight cable entry, AWG 24–22 installation cables and AWG 26/7 flexible cables and patch cables. The plug module is shielded, re-terminable and suitable for multiport applications. It can be terminated in less than one minute using only diagonal cutters. The freely accessible contact zone ensures consistently high termination quality and reliable transmission performance. The 360° shield termination is established automatically when the module is closed. The special contact geometry combined with 50 µin goldplating ensures reliable 4PPoE performance in accordance with IEEE 802.3bt under all operating conditions. The housing is made of nickel-plated die-cast zinc and meets the highest environmental and mechanical requirements.

- Ideally suited for the transmission of 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) in accordance with IEEE 802.3an and for applications up to 500 MHz in accordance with Cat. 6A and Class EA to ISO/IEC 11801 AMD1/2 and DIN EN 50173-1, with link lengths of more than 5 m.
