Easy Installation

Plug and Play

All components of the H.D.S. system are factory pre-terminated in accordance with the highest quality standards and supplied with clearly assignable test reports. This eliminates the need for on-site termination or additional waiting times in the data centre environment. Contamination of sensitive fibre-optic connections is therefore prevented.

Climate-Friendly and End-to-End

The overall cable bundle diameter of an H.D.S. AWG 23 trunk cable (Fig. 1) is approximately 18 mm (AWG 23, B2ca), making it around 30% smaller after installation than conventional individual cabling (Fig. 2) using cables with a diameter of approximately 8 mm each (AWG 23, B2ca). This reduces airflow resistance and the fire load within the distribution cabinet, allowing the cooling system to be used more efficiently according to actual demand. The maximum cable length is 90 m for the H.D.S. AWG 23 trunk cable and 60 m for the H.D.S. AWG 26 trunk cable, which has a cable diameter of 13.90 mm.
