Fiber Optic H.D.S. - MTP
The H.D.S. fibre-optic MPO/MTP® trunk system is designed for cabinet-to-cabinet connections and for connecting consolidation points. It consists of pre-terminated H.D.S. LC duplex breakout heads connected to 12-fibre MPO/MTP® cables via MPO/MTP® interfaces. The system is designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet transmission in accordance with IEEE 802.3.
Depending on the existing infrastructure, users can select either singlemode OS2 or multimode OM3 or OM4 MPO/MTP® versions. The maximum packing density is 168 LC duplex ports within 3U or 48 LC duplex ports within 1U.
