The EasyLan® armoured patch cable has been developed for demanding indoor fibre-optic connections. Its armoured cable construction provides enhanced mechanical protection for the optical fibre, making it particularly suitable for installations in which patch cables are exposed to increased mechanical stress.
The cable is available in simplex and FIG8 duplex versions. Connector configurations include LC/APC, SC/APC and LC/APC to SC/APC adapter cables. The white outer sheath and compact cable diameter of 2.7 mm enable neat and space-saving installation.
The EasyLan® armoured patch cable is suitable for robust indoor fibre-optic connections, particularly in network cabinets and technical rooms, FTTx and FTTH installations, data-centre and building cabling, installation areas exposed to increased mechanical stress, and environments in which additional protection against pressure, foot traffic or damage is required. The specified bending radius must also be observed for armoured fibre-optic patch cables. The armouring improves mechanical protection but does not replace professional cable installation.
