Universal Cable, 4–144 Fibres, OM3

The universal fibre-optic cable features a slim and cost-effective design with a central loose tube. It is metal-free, longitudinally watertight, tensile-resistant, rodent-resistant and UV-resistant. The cable can be used outdoors as a building-entry cable when installed in suitable ducts and cable shafts. Its halogen-free, flame-retardant construction also makes it suitable for indoor installation on cable trays and as a riser cable.

Universal indoor/outdoor fibre-optic cables with stranded loose tubes are used in primary cabling applications, such as campus backbones, and in secondary cabling applications where more than 12 fibres are required. The compact loose-tube construction enables a high fibre density and therefore simplifies fibre management within distribution systems.

The cable is UV-resistant, metal-free, rodent-resistant, longitudinally watertight, highly robust, halogen-free and flame-retardant. It is suitable for indoor installation and for outdoor installation in appropriate ducts and cable shafts.
